Beduk ra tmolech ( My rock on high depths of water)

This expression is used by many locals who likes saying it to their love ones.It sounds like it means someone you stand on when the water is to deep.That way you won't drown. This expression refers to the person who is supporting the drowning person. Meaning, a person who sacrifices everything for you, including themselves. My husband  Billy a.k.a Palaus Best is my rock. For nine years of being together ever since 2001, he has always stood by my side, even though people say he doesn't seem to. We are well connected in so many ways.One thing, we have accepted each others differences and yet try to love each others hobbies, habits, etc and join in every moment. It has caught our attention that we just can't live without each other. So when a man says "Beside a strong man he always has his wife", I think all women have to know and understand why they like being difficult most of the time. My husband likes it when I baby him, pick up after him, kiss his boo-boo's and etc. And yet to my very time of needs and despair, he comes running to my rescue. What can I say, his my Rock on High Depths of Water (Beduk ra tmolech).
